The November listening session for the Village is Wednesday, 15 November 2017, from 4:00 until 5:00 pm. Drop by the (upstairs) Ruth Mills Room of the Sodus Community Library (17 Maple Avenue) and chat with the Mayor of the Village, David Englert. Come learn about the Village’s budget priorities for the upcoming year, ongoing projects, and future plans. Bring your concerns and suggestions for building a better community. Local government is your best opportunity to make a positive impact on your life and on the lives of your neighbors. Be heard!
The Board meeting is to conduct routine business. As always, the meeting is open to the public. Time: 7:00 pm. Place: Firemen’s Meeting Room (downstairs at the Municipal Building).
The Public Hearing is an opportunity for the public to voice their opinion on proposed changes to the Village’s Property Maintenance chapter of our code book. The chapter was drafted 20 years ago. The proposed new chapter will reduce response time in dealing with nuisances, particularly repeat nuisances. It will also add an administrative fee to make serious violations less appealing. Time: 6:30 pm. Place: Firemen’s Meeting Room (downstairs at the Municipal Building).
