Work to Begin on Mill Street Project

Phase I of the Mill Street Renovation Project is scheduled to begin the first week in August. Phase I is the replacement of the sidewalk on the west side of the street. Work will commence at the southern end, at the intersection with Benton Place, and will proceed northward, toward Main Street. We will replace as much sidewalk as we can with the budget we have this year.

During the work, existing sidewalks will be removed and driveways will be cut to allow for new sidewalks to be laid. Residents will be impacted on the days when existing sidewalk is removed and on days that new sidewalk is installed. We will communicate those dates through this web site, through notes left at front doors, and in person whenever possible. Every effort will be made to keep inconveniences to a minimum. On days that driveways will be unusable, parking will be permitted on the east side of Mill Street.

Please call the Village Offices at 315.483.9821 with any questions.
